New combined LTE-M1 /LTE-NB1 module based on the latest Qualcomm chipset

Quectel’s BG96 is the first announced product supporting both standards for cellular M2M communication LTE-M1 and LTE-NB1. It is based on Qualcomm chipset MDM9206.

In addition the module has a GNSS function compatible with GSP, GLONASS, GALILEO.

The module is backward compatible with popular M95 (GSM/GPRS), UG95/96 (UMTS/HSPA) and EG95 (LTE) providing easy transition from one wireless technology to another.
